The premise of this card is simple: you pay 3 life and the casting cost to search your library for ANY card you want and put it in your hand.  You probably want to have 4 Demonic Tutors (which cost 1 less black mana and doesn’t reduce your life by 3) in your deck before adding these in.

This card is ideal if you have a few very powerful but highly situational cards in your deck (assuming you already got 4 Demonic Tutors.)  Many times, you wish that you had drawn a pa particular card from your deck but if you have this one in your hand, you can fish it out instead of praying for it on your draw step each round.
