Den Protector: Instill Fear in Weaker Foes
Den Protector is a 2/1 green creature that can’t be blocked by creatures with less power than it. In addition, it can also be played face down as a 2/2 creature for 3 colorless mana and megamorphed into a 3/2 creature for 1 colorless and 1 green mana. When you turn it up, you also get to return a card from your graveyard into your hand.
IMO, it’s almost a waste not to play Den Protector face down. The ability to return any card from your graveyard to your hand is very valuable, probably even more so than the Snapcaster Mage’s similar ability since it can also bring permanents back from the dead as well. And every bit of power boost, even the +1/+1 from morphing back, helps this creature exponentially. Not only does giving it a higher power which does more damage to your opponent but also reduces the # of potential creatures that could block it. Throw on a Blanchwood Armor (if you have tons of forests), a couple of Giant Growths, and/or a Berserk or two and you can potentially defeat your opponent in that turn since it’s very likely he/she has no creatures with enough power to block it so all of that massive damage gets dealt directly to your opponent! And if you have multiple Den Protectors, you can use them to bring these power-enhancing instants or sorceries back from the graveyard if you didn’t win the game right away and try again!

Final Thoughts
This versatile creature is a great fit for many green decks both for its ability to bring cards back from the graveyard and for being unblockable by creatures with less power than it. If your deck has cards that can boost your creatures’ powers even further, then Den Protector would be an excellent fit.
