Tasigur is a 4/5 Black Legendary Creature that costs (5)(B) but can be cast for as little as 1 Black Mana if you Delve up to 5 cards from your graveyard.  If you pay 4 mana, 2 of which must be Blue or Green, you can place the top 2 cards from your library into your graveyard and then your opponent shall choose a card from your graveyard to return to your hand.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is a Blue Planeswalker with an ability that allows you to return any card that is getting sent to the graveyard to your hand instead and eliminate your maximum hand size.  If you’ve activated that ability and then used Tasigur to discard the top 2 cards of your library, you can send them directly to your hand, not to mention that your opponent will also have to pick another card from your graveyard to return to your hand.  This can be useful for recovering the cards in your graveyard from before you activated Tamiyo’s final ability.

To use Tashigur at his fullest potential, you’re gonna need either Blue or Green mana in addition to Black.  But what really shines is its usefulness throughout the game: its delve ability allows you to cast a 4/5 creature fairly early and you can use it to return cards (of your opponent’s choice) from your graveyard to your hand later in the game.  (Just make sure you don’t have too many Fetch Lands sitting in your graveyard later on otherwise your opponent will likely pick those.)  To learn more about Tashigur, please come to Amazon.com by following the link below!
