Archangel of Tithes is a 3/5 White Creature with Flying which has an ability that forces your opponent to pay 1 colorless mana for each creature he/she is attacking with as long as your Archangel is untapped.  And if the Archangel is among one of your attackers, your opponent’s creatures can’t block unless he/she pays 1 colorless mana for each blocking creature.

It goes without saying that Archangel of Tithes would derive tremendous benefit from gaining Vigilance which doesn’t tap your Archangel whenever you attack with it.  This forces your opponent to pay 1 colorless mana for every creature he/she is attacking with AND 1 colorless mana again for every creature he/she is using to block.  I highly recommend using Brave the Sands with the Archangel.  Brave the Sands will give ALL of your creatures Vigilance.

Final Thoughts

Archangel of Tithes works best if your opponent doesn’t have many flying creatures that can block and possibly kill your Archangel whenever it attacks.  But even then, it still goes a long way to boost your defense, requiring a payment of 1 colorless mana for every creature your opponent attacks with.  To learn more, please come to Amazon.com by following the button below!
